Nepal Plane Crash: Chinese connection of plane crash in Pokhara, Nepal, why is the name of China being taken

Pokhara: A passenger plane of Yeti Air, which left for Pokhara from Kathmandu on Sunday, crashed in Nepal. This aircraft turned into a fireball within 20 minutes of take off. Seeing the videos that came, it could be guessed that why and how the accident would have happened. The Pokhara International Airport at which it was to land was inaugurated 14 days in advance. This airport is also a proof of the friendship between China and Nepal.

There were 72 passengers on this plane. The airport where the accident took place was inaugurated by Prime Minister Pushpa Dahal Prachanda 14 days ago. It is a regional airport built by China under the Belt and Road Initiative. On January 1, on the occasion of New Year, Prachanda dedicated it to the nation. He inaugurated it by saying that with the help of this airport, regional connectivity will be further strengthened.

Last year, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi handed over this Regional International Airport to the then PM of Nepal, Sher Bahadur Deuba. It was handed over to the country in a program which was organized in Baluwater.

A controversy also took birth along with this airport. The Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu declared that this airport is a flagship project of China-Nepal BRI cooperation. A day after the inauguration, the embassy said, ‘This is a flagship project of China-Nepal BRI cooperation. Special congratulations to the Government of Nepal and the people of this country for this. ,
