First plane lands at Abu Dhabi International Airport
Under this campaign, the first plane reached Abu Dhabi International Airport on Saturday. The plane was carrying children who were seriously injured during the war or cancer patients.

Maha Barakat, Assistant Minister for Foreign Health Affairs, said special arrangements have been made in UAE hospitals to provide medical treatment to all the injured. These children are provided comprehensive care as well as specialized services, in accordance with international standards, to ensure their full recovery before their safe return.
The Assistant Minister of Foreign Health Affairs explained that the UAE has provided urgent humanitarian aid and supplies to the Gaza Strip since the Israel-Hamas war. In this regard, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan had issued instructions to allocate humanitarian aid package.
