-Order was given to transfer from Attock Jail to high security Adiala Jail in Garrison City of Rawalpindi.
Islamabad (H.I.S.). The local court of Islamabad has considered the marriage of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi as an un-Islamic marriage and has insisted on the personal presence of Imran. At the same time, the Superintendent of Attock Jail has expressed his inability to produce him before the court due to security risks.
Earlier, a top court of Pakistan on Monday ordered the transfer of former Prime Minister Imran Khan from Attock jail in Punjab province to the high-security Adiala jail in Garrison city of Rawalpindi. According to the information, this jail also has a bathroom along with the room. Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) gave this information.
According to reports, Islamabad local court has summoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan on September 25 (Monday) in a case related to non-Islamic marriage with Bushra Bibi.
A Pakistani cleric who performed Khan’s Nikah with Bushra Bibi had said that the ceremony was not conducted in accordance with Islamic Sharia law. Maulvi Mufti Saeed, who officiated the couple’s Islamic wedding in 2018, said in April that the marriage took place during Bushra Bibi’s Eiddat period.
Let us tell you that after divorce or death of her husband, a Muslim woman has to remain veiled for about four months, which is called ‘Iddat’.
Bushra is Bibi Khan’s third wife. She is around 40 years old, from a landlord family of Punjab. Her first marriage was to Khawar Farid Maneka, which lasted for about 30 years. Bushra belongs to a politically influential Punjab family.
The Attock jail superintendent wrote a letter to civil judge Qudartullah, citing security risks as the former prime minister was a high-profile under-trial prisoner in a federal investigation. The cipher case of the agency’s (FIA) Counter Terrorism Wing (CTW) relates to alleged disclosure of state secrets filed under the Official Secrets Act.
The party said that the IHC has issued this order while hearing the case. Giving further information, the party said that the Chief Justice of IHC has ordered the transfer of PTI Chairman Imran Khan from Attock Jail to Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.
