India is called the enemy
According to Gul, India is the country which has always been seen by Pakistan as an enemy. It is taught in this country right from childhood that India is a country which simply has to be crushed and destroyed by any means. But the country which was dreamed of being crushed and destroyed is now moving ahead in an extraordinary way. According to Gul, whatever India is today, it is because of that foreign policy and because of this policy, the country is getting unlimited benefits. Recently foreign ministers of G-20 countries arrived in India. Apart from this meeting, there was a meeting of the National Security Advisors (NSAs) of America and India. Gul also did not forget to mention that the meeting took place in Washington on January 31 on the sidelines of the Initiative of Critical Emerging Technologies (iCET).
America’s big deal with India
According to Gul, after the meeting, the two countries reiterated their commitment to live with each other. Along with this, it was also talked about finding those ways through which technology can be used in the right direction. Gul also referred to the announcement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden in May 2022, which talked about furthering the strategic technical partnership and strengthening mutual cooperation of the defense industry.
Gul said that there is contact between the two countries at all levels. The foundation of US-India relations which was laid by the then US President Bill Clinton in March 2000 reached a new level in the year 2006. This year a civil nuclear technology cooperation agreement was signed between India and the US.

Pakistan returning to the old days
Gul said that since then India has steadily become stronger. Today it is an important part of America’s Indo-Pacific policy. Also present as an observer from Quad to Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Asia-European Meeting (ASEM), BRICS to OIC. But now Pakistan is nowhere to be seen. According to him, now the question should be asked whether Pakistan is necessary for the world or not?
Government’s focus is not on the situation
He said that instead of paying attention to the situation in the country, the government is only thinking about how to harass Imran Khan and his associates. Everyone wants to know that how the former PM of the country has suddenly become a criminal, terrorist and rebel. The manner in which opposition leaders and journalists are being arrested on sedition charges, tells the current state of the country. According to Gul, Pakistan has returned to the 1970s and 1980s when there was an era of American military dictatorship. Arrests, illegal detention, harassment of opposition and media workers was a common practice in the country.
