The friendship between India and America has become very strong in the last few years. The result of this has also been seen in the business to strategic sector. NATO Plus is currently known as NATO Plus 5. NATO Plus is a security system. Its task is to bring together NATO and the five alliance countries, so that global defense cooperation can be enhanced. These 5 countries include Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Israel and South Korea. If India is included in this alliance, then it will be easier to share intelligence between these countries. It will be easy for India to get the latest military technology as well.

The committee focused on China raised the demand
The US committee which has talked about India’s inclusion in NATO Plus is the selection committee of ‘Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’. It is headed by Chairman Mike Gallagher and Ranking Member Raja Krishnamurthy. This committee has adopted a policy proposal to increase Taiwan’s security capability. It states that India should be included in NATO Plus to strengthen security.
Will help in stopping China
The selection committee said that the US wants to win the strategic competition with the Chinese Communist Party. Also, its aim is to ensure the security of Taiwan. To achieve this objective, America will have to strengthen relations with its allies and security partners, including India.

The committee further says that India should be included in the security system of NATO Plus. This will not only strengthen global security, but also increase Indo-US closeness in stopping CCP’s aggression in the Indo-Pacific region.
