-Demand for 1000 yuan compensation along with defamation allegation
Beijing (EMS). Working in the neighboring country China is no less than walking on a double-edged sword. An employee in China was caught by his boss playing games on his mobile during work. For this mistake, the boss fired him from work and the boy filed a case against him. What happened next was no less than a nightmare for the boss. This incident took place in Jiangxi province of China. Here in August 2022, a 23-year-old boy named Shaogang joined the tutoring company. The company offered this Gen Z boy more than Rs 33 thousand every month as salary. Just a few months later, his boss caught him playing online games at work.
Shaogang accepted his mistake and was ready to face punishment but the boss gave him two choices – either he left the job himself or he was ready to leave. Amidst this dispute, the boy recorded the conversation containing insulting language and personal attack and complained to the police about his boss. The boy said that he would withdraw the report only if the boss apologized to him. The boss also agreed to this but he did not do so for 2 months and Shaogang could not even get his salary. Ultimately he resigned from the job and filed a case against the boss.
Along with the allegation of defamation, he asked for a compensation of 1000 yuan and deducted salary. After the case was over, the court ordered that the boss should apologize publicly and pay 100 yuan i.e. 11 thousand rupees for causing mental harm. Let us tell you that if you want to do a private job, then you have to proceed very thoughtfully. Even a little carelessness can have bad consequences. Not only can you lose your job but you may also have to be publicly humiliated.
