If reports are to be believed, Rasheed was taken to a polyclinic hospital for alcohol test. But he flatly refused the test. According to Pakistani media reports, Rasheed refused to provide urine sample for the test. He asked the doctors to take a blood sample for alcohol test. He also flatly refused to get ECG done. After his arrest, Rasheed had said in a statement that he never drank alcohol or used drugs.

It can be seen in the video that when the doctor asks for a urine sample from Sheikh Rashid, he says, ‘Brother, I can’t urinate, so where should I give it. I am a patient of Prostate. The doctors try to make them understand but Rasheed insists on presenting his case in the court. Sheikh Rasheed had said that he was feeling danger to his life. He had alleged that 100 to 200 armed men entered his house during his arrest.

Rawalpindi police arrested him late in the night and later handed him over to the Aabpara police station. It was here that PPP i.e. Pakistan Peoples Party’s Raja Inayat ur Rehman had filed a case against him. Sheikh Rasheed accused former Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari of conspiring to assassinate Imran Khan. Imran Khan had also made the same allegation last month.
