No meeting of Xi Jinping and PM Modi is proposed, but several reports have raised the possibility that there may be a formal meeting of the two leaders. Earlier, PM Modi and Jinping had attended the SCO Summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan in September. Even then no separate meeting of the two leaders was held. This meeting of the two leaders has happened when Xi Jinping has become the President of China for the third time by showing a dictatorial attitude. So far, no formal congratulatory message has been given to Jinping from India.
There is a border dispute between India and China

PM Modi meets Rishi Sunak
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak during the G20 summit. This is the first meeting of the two leaders after the Indian-origin sage became the Prime Minister. Earlier in October, PM Modi and Rishi Sunak had a phone conversation and emphasized on a balanced and comprehensive free trade agreement between the two countries. PM Modi arrived in Bali on Monday. Here he met Mackie Saul, President of the Republic of Senegal, PM Mark Root of the Netherlands and US President Joe Biden.
PM Modi stresses on ending the war
This meeting of G20 countries is taking place at a time when the war between Russia and Ukraine is going on. This war is being mentioned every time in the meeting. Russian President Putin may not have joined it seeing this. In the G-20 meeting, PM Modi reiterated India’s stand on the issue of Russia. PM Modi said that India supports ceasefire and this issue should be resolved through dialogue.
