When Foreign Minister Jaishankar and Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met, the two discussed the friendship, political ties and bilateral relations between India and Israel. The Israeli Embassy inside Delhi said that Jaishankar on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited the Prime Minister of Israel to visit India. During the meeting, Jaishankar told Prime Minister Naftali Bennett that our country also has very strong feelings about the relationship with Israel, both countries are very good friends of each other. On 18 October, Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar also met Israel’s Foreign Minister Yair Lapid. India and Israel have agreed to start a free trade agreement from next month, after the talks, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar told that both the countries have agreed on this agreement and will give a full form to this agreement by the middle of next year. Both countries have given consent to each other’s vaccine, now each other’s vaccine certificate will be valid in both countries. The Foreign Minister of Israel also greatly appreciated the country of India and thanked them wholeheartedly for inviting them to India.
This friendship relationship between India and Israel has been going on since 1992, and the BJP government has strengthened it further. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also visited Israel in 2017, he was the first Prime Minister to visit Israel.
