In the program of private news channel, CM Yogi said, ‘We should not forget this thing, India is secular today because it is a Hindu majority. Which guarantees everyone’s safety. Believes in ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. Otherwise what is happening inside Pakistan, what is happening in Afghanistan. How are people of other religions being treated in other countries of the world? When there are many such countries in the world, where their religious places are being demolished, no one is speaking there, there is an example in front of everyone.
Minority mosques are also not safe
Some recent incidents of Pakistan prove that how correct is the statement of CM Yogi regarding Pakistan. Last Monday, there was a suicide blast in a mosque in Peshawar. Hundreds of people were injured in this and more than 100 died. A video surfaced from Pakistan on Friday showing some fundamentalists vandalizing an Ahmadiyya mosque. These people were said to be members of Pakistan’s extremist Islamic party TLP.
Believing of ‘Pakistan’s Ambani’, Shahbaz does not become a beggar in Pakistan
428 temples were demolished in 1947
In Pakistan, not only religious places of Hindu and Sikh communities, but people of Shia, Hazara and Ahmadiyya communities and their mosques are targeted on a daily basis. In June last year, a Hindu temple was attacked in Karachi. The fanatics beat up the priest and broke the idols of Hindu deities. The report of All Pakistan Hindu Rights Movement states that around 428 temples were demolished in Pakistan in 1947. Presently only 20 big Hindu temples are left in Pakistan.
Only 22 lakh Hindus, they too are in danger
Last year, in a report by the Center for Peace and Justice Pakistan, it was told that the population of Hindus in Pakistan is only 22 lakh 10 thousand. This is only 1.8 percent of the total registered population of the country. Minority women and innocent girls are at greatest risk in Pakistan. Every day fundamentalists kidnap them and forcefully convert them and marry them. When complaints of such cases are made to the police, they also seem to be avoiding strict action.
