According to the information received from the media report, earlier on Tuesday, President Draupadi Murmu had participated in a cultural program.
At the same time, after this program, the President while addressing the people said that I am very happy to welcome Suriname. I feel very happy to be here. He said that the plants, wildlife and pure air here create a good environment. President Murmu said that the diversity here is pleasing to the mind as there are similarities between India and Suriname. It feels like I am in my own house.

Honored with Highest Civilian Award
A day before this, President of India Draupadi Murmu was awarded the highest civilian honor Grand Order of the Chain of the Yellow Star by Suriname President Chandrika Prasad Santokhi. During this, she said that it is a matter of great honor and it is also important for the crores of people of India whom I represent.
Dedicated to overseas Indians

President Draupadi Murmu will go to Serbia
Apart from this, Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs Sanjay Verma had told that President Draupadi Murmu will visit Serbia today i.e. on June 7 at the invitation of Serbian President Alexander Vucic. It is being told that this is his first state visit after taking charge in July 2022.
