‘I am hungry, my mother is dead’. These are the words of one of the four children who were rescued after 40 days in the dense Amazon jungle of Colombia. She is the eldest daughter of her parents among four children. Whose age is only 13 years. These children were traveling with their mother in a small plane on May 1, which crashed in the Amazon jungle. After the plane crashed, he went missing in the jungle and his mother died.
These four children were found on Friday after wandering alone in the dense forest for more than a month. Out of four children, the age of one is 13 years, the second is 9 years, the third is 5 and the fourth is only 1 year old. After being taken out of the forest, these children were directly admitted to the Army Hospital.

In an interview given to Indonesia’s public broadcaster channel RTVC on Sunday, a member of the rescue team recalled those moments and said that when he first met the children in the dense forest, his first words were ‘I am hungry, my mother’. Has died’. Nicolas Ordónez Gomes, a member of the rescue team, says that as soon as he landed at the main point in the jungle, Leslie, the eldest daughter, ran to him with a little girl in her lap. As soon as he reached near, Leslie said, I am hungry.
The child lying on the ground got up and said – mother died
Gomes tells that after the girl, a boy who was lying on the ground, got up and said to me, my mother is dead. Seeing the condition of the children, the members of the rescue team gave courage to the children and said that they have been sent by their family, father and uncle. The full video of the interview was released on Sunday. In the video, the members of the rescue team are also seen singing songs in front of the children to entice them.
What were the last words of the mother?
At the same time, the children’s father quoted the innocents as saying that their mother was alive for four days after the plane crash. Before dying, the mother had asked her children to leave. The wife had said that you people are now going to see what kind of person your father is. He will love you the same way I have loved you.

It was a good coincidence that the father of these children was not aboard the plane at the time of the accident. Now the entire responsibility of their upbringing has come on the shoulders of the father. Apart from four children and their mother, two other people were also aboard the plane who died. After the accident, the army personnel had recovered the dead bodies of all, but these children had moved ahead from there, so they could not be rescued at that time.
