According to a report, when Hamdullah Mukhlis got the news that Sardar Dawood Khan Hospital was attacked, he immediately reached the spot, he was killed in the exchange of fire between the attackers and the security forces in the hospital. Islamic Khorasan has claimed responsibility for this attack, they have been carrying out bomb blasts continuously since the Taliban took over Afghanistan.

It is being told that an attacker blew himself up in the hospital, due to which many people lost their lives. After this blast, the attackers attacked the people present in the hospital with guns. After this, Taliban security forces, with the help of a helicopter left by the US in Afghanistan, landed on the roof of the hospital and killed the attackers.

Islamic State Khorasan said that the whole case was carried out by their five attackers. The Taliban said in a statement that they had killed four attackers and arrested one alive, adding that Taliban security forces killed the attackers involved in the attack in just 15 minutes.
