Users expressed displeasure
Users of Indian origin have reacted to this on Twitter. A user has written that BBC should run a series on hunger in Bengal. It should be named ‘UK: The Churchill Question’. Another user has written that BBC should focus on the problems of UK. Britain is currently lagging behind India in every respect.
On the other hand, another user has written that one thing that every Indian hates is that they are repeatedly called outsiders and this is said by the people who once enslaved them. The Prime Ministerial tenure of PM Modi will be looked into in the BBC series.
According to the series, how many allegations from the Muslim population are continuously rejected by the government. Along with this, the series has also declared many policies as controversial. These are the policies which were implemented by the Modi government after coming back to power in the year 2019.
