Gaza (EMS). As soon as the ceasefire ended, Israel attacked Gaza again. There is news of death of about two hundred and fifty Palestinians in this attack. The ceasefire ended on the morning of 1 December, after which the Israeli army conducted an airstrike in Gaza. The recent Israeli bombardment of Gaza has killed about 175 Palestinians. Israel has once again started attacks targeting Hamas positions. With the end of the ceasefire, rocket firing, air strikes and ground fighting have also started. The Israeli military accused Hamas of firing rockets towards southern Israel, after which the IDF launched airstrikes on Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip. With this, the second phase of fighting in Gaza has started.
Palestinian health officials claim nearly 180 Palestinians have been killed in renewed Israeli bombardment of Gaza following the end of the ceasefire with Hamas. 589 people were also injured in this bombing. Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad say they have resumed launching rockets toward cities in southern and central Israel. At the same time, the Palestinian Red Crescent says that the Israeli army is stopping aid trucks from entering Gaza through the Rafah border crossing. On the other hand, Qatar, Egypt and the United States, which are trying to mediate between the two sides, say that they are working on restoring a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. The Israeli army says that Hamas has ended the seven-day ceasefire by firing rockets on its territory. Israel has started the bombing from Friday itself. The Israeli army is now slowly moving towards the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
On the other hand, Israel says that it has targeted more than 200 positions of Hamas. Hamas terrorists from Gaza again fired rockets into Israel, while attacks started between Israel and Hezbollah terrorists on the northern border with Lebanon. Attacks between Israel and Gaza were halted for 5 days and 300 Palestinian prisoners were released in exchange for Hamas releasing 100 hostages. Israel says that 115 men, 20 women and two children are still held hostage by Hamas.
