Russia-Ukraine War: If F-16 fighter jets are sent to Ukraine, it will raise questions on Neta’s involvement in the war. Russia has said this in clear words to America. Russia’s ambassador to the US, Anatoly Antonov, said Ukraine lacked the infrastructure to operate the F-16 and lacked pilots and maintenance personnel.
US President Joe Biden supported the training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets and assured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the aircraft would not be used to fly into Russian territory. Antonov said that any attack by Ukraine on Crimea would be considered as an attack on Russia. It is necessary that America is well aware of Russia’s counterattack.
More strictness requested from G7 countries
Ukraine has been specifically targeted for Crimea. Russia annexed this part of Ukraine in 2014. Right now fighting is going on in many important cities in both the countries. Bakhmut is also one of those cities, where the armies of both the countries have been face to face for months. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was also in Japan for the G7 summit when Russia claimed possession of Batmut. However, Zelensky denied this. Zelensky urged G7 to be more tough against Russia.
