Police said that during an operation, one of his sub-inspector Abdul Ghani also got hit by a bullet. Incidents of firing in Pakistan have been reported from Sachal Goth, Oranji Town, New Karachi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Malir areas.

After the Pakistani Prime Minister, Pakistan’s Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa also congratulated the Pakistani team on the victory, tweeting that “congratulations to the Pakistani team for winning the World Cup against India”.
