Lucknow . The Yogi government is coming up with new programs to make the youth of Uttar Pradesh skilled in new and future employable technology. In this sequence, work is being done on the program to provide training of 5G technology to the youth of UP. Through this program proposed under the Skill Development Mission, youth will not only be trained, but arrangements will also be made for their employment. It is noteworthy that 5G technology is being considered as the technology of the future. The state government believes that in the future, trained youth in 5G technology will be needed on a large scale in the telecom sector. 5G technology will transform the entire telecom ecosystem of hardware, software and services, which will be critical to the execution of other future technologies such as IoT, M2M communication and edge computing. The Yogi government has become active from now itself to fulfill this need of the future and is making efforts to manage the employment of the youth of the state by making them capable in 5G.

The purpose of this program related to making the youth of the state capable in 5G is to train the candidates as well as to provide employment in job roles related to 5G technology. According to the proposed target, 1000 or more candidates have to be trained and given jobs under this program in 8 months. There is a possibility that this program can be started soon in any 5 districts out of Lucknow, Kanpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Moradabad, Agra, Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Prayagraj.
Estimated expenditure of more than 2.8 crores on 3 courses
As per the proposal, 3 courses can be conducted under this programme. The first is Telecom Rigger – 5G and Legacy Networks, the second is Technician 5G – Active Network Installation and the third is Project Engineer – 5G Networks. A total amount of more than 2.8 crores is estimated to be spent on these three courses. Under Telecom Rigger-5G and Legacy Networks, 450 hours 360 candidates will be made skilled. In this, more than 22 thousand amount will be spent on each candidate and the total expenditure will be about 80 lakh rupees. Similarly, the course of Technician 5G will run for 570 hours, in which a total amount of more than one crore will be spent on 360 candidates. Similarly, a 660-hour course is proposed for Project Engineer, in which an expenditure of more than 90 lakh is estimated on 280 candidates.
Implementation strategy will be completed in 5 phases
A strategy has also been prepared for the implementation of this entire programme. Under this, the complete plan from training to providing employment has been shared in 5 phases. Firstly youth will be attracted for the courses. After this pre and post enrollment counseling of the youth will be done. After this their monitoring and evaluation will be done. In the fourth phase, placement support will be provided to the youth, while in the fifth and final phase, support and feedback will be provided along with mentoring of the youth.
