Delhi . WhatsApp keeps on bringing new features for its users. Some features are released while some are available to beta testers which are launched later. Testing of one such feature has been going on for a long time. With this, users will be able to update voice notes as status. This new feature of WhatsApp is available for testing since September last year. Through this feature, users will be able to share voice notes in status updates. Users will be able to share this voice note with selected people selected through privacy settings.
This latest WhatsApp feature is available to beta testers who will install the latest WhatsApp beta 2.23.2.8 update for Android. It is available on Google Play Store. This feature will be available to selected beta testers. Eligible beta testers will be able to share voice notes as status by accessing the feature within the text status section. However, before using it, testers have to enable the text status section. Users will also be given a lot of control over voice recordings by WhatsApp.
Users will also be able to discard any recording before sharing it. The maximum recording time for a voice note will be 30 seconds. Also, the rest of the users will also have to update their WhatsApp version to listen to the voice notes shared in the status. Also the voice notes shared will be end-to-end encrypted. Like the rest of the status, this too will disappear in 24 hours. This feature can be released soon.
