New Delhi. Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi on Thursday launched the ninth generation of the Redmi Note series smartphones Note 9 Pro Max and Note 9 Pro. These phones are equipped with NavIC, a navigation system developed in India by ISRO. Anuj Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer, Xiaomi India said in a statement, “The Redmi Note Pro series is made for the true Mi fans and we hope they appreciate the aura design, pro camera and max performance of this phone.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max will be available in three color variants – Interstellar Black, Aura Blue and Glacier White. Its three storage variants have been launched. This phone will be available in 6GB-64GB, 6GB-128GB and 8GB-128GB variants. The price of these variants has been kept at Rs 14,999, 16,999 and Rs 18,999 respectively.
These phones will be available from March 25 on Mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Homes and Mi Studios.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro will also be available in Interstellar Black, Aura Blue and Glacier White. Its two storage variants have been launched. This phone will be available in 4GB-64GB, 6GB-128GB variants. It will be priced at Rs 12,999 and Rs 15,999 respectively and will go on sale starting at Rs.17 on Amazon.com, Amazon India, Mi Homes and Mi Studios.
Both the devices will soon be available across all offline partner stores.
Talking about the specification, both the smartphones are coming in the market with 6.67 inch Full HD Plus display. Their screen resolution is 2400 by 1080 pixels and they are equipped with Triple Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Both the phones are equipped with the state-of-the-art Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and also have Adreno 618GPU.
Talking about the camera, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a quad-camera setting. It has 64MP primary lens, 8MP ultra wide angle lens, 5MB micro sensor and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 32MP indisplay selfie shooter.
Similarly, the Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a quad-camera setting. It has 484MP primary lens, 8MP ultra wide angle lens, 5MB micro sensor and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it also has a 32MP indisplay selfie shooter.
Both the smartphones will run on Android 10 with the help of MIUI 11. Both the phones have a 5020mAh battery and the Max will come with 33W fast charging support while the Note 9 Pro will sport 18W fast charging. (IANS)
