On November 5, 2007, Google changed the entire mobile operating system, on this day Google launched the Android system. At that time Google only launched the beta version, initially it was made to help programmers and developers. But in 2008, Google launched the commercial version of Android in the market and it does not need to be told how it changed the way of mobile usage.
Until 2005, Android used to be a separate company but then it was bought by Google. At that time the Android company was working on the operating system for smartphones, after joining Google, Android started working on its construction with more noise. In 2007, Google announced the formation of a consortium with mobile tech companies, its main objective was to popularize Android as an open source operating system.
The commercial version of Android was launched in front of the world on 23 September 2008, at that time it was named Android 1.0. On 22 October 2008, the first smartphone with Android system was launched, its name was HTC Dream. After this, Google also launched Android 1.1, followed by Android 1.5 in 2008, this version was named Cupcake by Google.
After this, all the Android versions launched were given different types of names. By early 2012, Google Android had overtaken Apple’s iOS to become the most used operating system in the world. At present, the Android operating system is being used in 72 percent of the smartphones around the world.
Indian Mangalyaan had left on the journey to Mars
Reaching Mars is still the dream of many countries, they are still trying to send their vehicle to Mars. On 5 November 2013, scientists from the Indian Space Research Organization launched the Mars Orbiter Mission to Mars. No one had any idea of what Indian scientists had done at that time, hardly anyone thought that India would be successful. But it happened that the Mangalyaan sent by India had entered the orbit of Mars on 24 September 2014.

This was a feat that no country had been able to do before India, for the first time, India had taken Mangalyaan to Mars. After traveling 650 million kilometers, the Indian Mars Orbiter had entered the orbit of Mars, when the budget of this entire mission was revealed to the world, everyone was shocked at that time. India had accomplished this mission at a cost of just Rs 450 crore, more money than that goes to make a Hollywood film. This mission was much cheaper than all the interplanetary missions. According to a report, the cost of traveling to Mars was only Rs 11.5 per kilometer.
Initially it was told that this mission has been done for a time interval of six months. Mangalyaan was to revolve in the orbit of Mars for six months and send all the information received from there to Earth. Mangalyaan had to find out how minerals are present on Mars, whether a manned mission to Mars could be carried out in the future and the presence of methane present in the Martian atmosphere. Mangalyaan completed its five years in 2018.
