As per the latest update, Aadhaar card will now be available in Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya and Kannada. If you wish to change the language of your Aadhar card, you can do so by filling the online form. You can request a change in your Aadhaar number by visiting the Aadhaar Seva Kendra or by applying online.
Change the language of your Aadhar card in this way:
step 1: Visit the official website of UIDAI.
Step 2: After that select ‘Update Aadhaar’ and then ‘Update Demographic Data Online’.
Step 3: Now you will see Aadhar Self Service Update Portal.
Step 4: You have to enter your Aadhar number and captcha.
Step 5: After that you have to fill all the required information and click on ‘Generate OTP’ button.
Step 6: Login with your OTP.
Step 7: Then select ‘Update Demographic Data Online’ from the drop-down menu.
Step 8: Then you have to choose your preferred regional language.
Step 9: Update your demographic details and send it.
Step 10: Check all the details and submit.
Step 11: Now an OTP will come on your phone.
Step 12: Enter it. Then you have to pay the fee of Rs.50. After that the process will be completed.
Step 13: Download the card after the update is complete, which may take 1-3 weeks.
