formed my own company
According to Mint’s report, this is the story of Jared Mauch, a resident of a village in Michigan, who created his own fiber-internet service, unhappy with the bad internet. He came to his home in the village in the year 2002 and installed a cable or fiber network in the house itself, which has become a wireless internet service provider today.
Fiber connections are being given in the village
He started the company with an initial investment of around Rs 1 crore. About four years ago, Mauch planned to start his own company and is providing fiber broadband service to his village, where till now mobile network was the only internet option. Initially, Mauj has installed five kilometers of fiber. In such a situation, the people of his village are not dependent on mobile for internet.
the villagers helped
The people of the village contributed about Rs 3.9 lakh to set up this company. After becoming a company, Mauj offered free internet service to the villagers for many years. Seeing the same spirit of fun, the government helped about 21 crores.
getting high speed internet
Today Mauj is giving 100Mbps speed internet with unlimited data, whose speed is claimed to be 1Gbps. This internet service is very less compared to other internet service providers in the area.
