New year is about to come. Regarding this, automakers are hopeful that the coming year 2022 can prove to be better for them. As 2021 was not that special for the auto industry, as companies saw the same decline in sales of their vehicles. At the same time, due to the increase in the prices of the cost incurred while making the vehicle, the companies have also seen a lot of loss. In this sequence, Hero MotoCorp has announced an increase in the prices of its two-wheeler vehicles from January.
price will increase so much
Hero MotoCorp said in a statement that from January 4, the company will increase the ex-showroom prices of its motorcycle-scooters by up to Rs 2000. This increase will be done according to the market and model.
Price hiked for the third time in 6 months: Hero MotoCorp is going to increase the prices of its two-wheeler vehicles for the third time in the last six months. Earlier, the company had increased the ex-showroom prices of its motorcycles and scooters by up to Rs 3,000 on July 1, while recently, the company increased the prices by Rs 3,000 on September 20. This will be the third time that the company is going to increase its two-wheeler vehicles.
Other companies also increased the price
In the last one year, there has been a steady increase in the prices of raw materials like steel, aluminium, copper and precious metals, causing huge losses to the automakers. So they don’t want the whole burden to go on them, so they want to put some of the burden of rising prices on the shoulders of the customers. Apart from Hero MotoCorp, many other companies such as Maruti Suzuki India, Tata Motors, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Honda Cars, Skoda, Volkswagen, other companies have also indicated to increase the prices of their vehicles from next year 2022.
