Most notably, the Tata Punch is best placed on an Agile Light Flexible Advanced (ALFA) platform like the Tata Altroz and the car has already received an impressive 5-star Global NCAP crash test safety rating, which means Tata Punch is the most economical 5- It is a star and also a safety rated car in India.

Features of Tata Punch
The Tata Punch is offered with only one engine option which is the 1.2-litre unit seen on the Altroz. It produces 86 PS and 113 Nm and gets two gearbox options, a 5-speed MT and an AMT unit. Tata Punch is also a safe made-in-India car. Tata Punch pre-bookings from October 4 at 21,000 continues in Rs. The Tata Punch also comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, which gives the car a great look. Apart from this, the Tata Punch has got a passive start-stop function which is like a micro-hybrid function to save petrol. It also gets Traction Pro mode that mimics 4WD for smooth driving on off-road tracks. In terms of safety, Tata will offer dual airbags, ABS with EBD and segment-first brake sway control. There is also a tire puncture repair kit as well.
