Data theft and online tracking will be expensive, 200 crore fine and jail in the new rule

New Delhi. In a rapidly digital country like India, the incidents of online fraud are increasing rapidly. One reason for this is also considered to be effective law for the protection of data. Because of this, technology companies have been using consumer data indiscriminately without permission. But maybe now the face is going to change, because now the central government has become cautious about the security of consumer data.

    Government is bringing new rule
The central government is bringing a new Data Protection Bill rule. The government will introduce the new data protection bill in the upcoming winter session of Parliament. The government claims that the new bill will prove effective in preventing misuse of data. Explain that the Minister of State for Electronics and IT, Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that the Data Security Bill will put an end to the misuse of customer data. Because in the new rule, there will be punitive action on misuse of data, which was not present in the earlier data protection bill. Explain that during the investigation in America, Google told that it used to track the users by misleading the users. Because of this, Google was fined about US $ 392 million.

No one will be able to do online tracking
It is alleged that Google tracks users’ data for targeted advertising. According to experts, location tracking data is considered the most sensitive, which is expected to be misused. Google has been sharing a limited amount of location tracking data. The attorney general in the US found that Google violated state consumer protection laws since at least 2014 by misleading consumers about its location tracking practices.
