    New Delhi. The Modi government in its last full-time budget has given relief to the public on many fronts. Buying mobiles and smart TVs which are part of our daily needs has become cheaper. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her budget speech has reduced the custom duty on lithium ion batteries by 2.5 per cent to 13 per cent. Due to which the price of the smartphone can be reduced in the coming days. According to these figures, India is a big market for smartphones, which can leave behind China in the coming days. The Modi government also wants to develop India as a smartphone manufacturing hub. In such a situation, the change in custom duty is being linked to this command.
