Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has called an all-party meeting on Tuesday to discuss and take feedback on the caste survey report. There will be an in-depth discussion on every aspect of the report and the data collected in the meeting. It is being told that this meeting will take place in the afternoon. However, no information has been revealed yet regarding the timing of the meeting.
After releasing the report on Monday, Nitish Kumar had said that all the information will be given to all the parties in the all-party meeting and further work will be done after their discussion. He announced that it would include those parties with whom earlier meetings had been held to reach the caste census agreement.
Invitation to these parties in all-party meeting
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has reportedly been invited to the all-party meeting along with other parties. Apart from Congress Party, CPI, CPM, CPI ML and Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM, Lalu Yadav’s RJD, Nitish Kumar’s JDU, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awa Morcha and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party JDU are also included.

According to the Bihar Caste Survey report, out of the state’s population of more than 13 crore, OBC is 27.13 percent, Extremely Backward Class is 36.01 percent and General Class is 15.52 percent. Bhumihar population is 2.86 percent, Kurmi population is 2.87 percent, Brahmin population is 3.66 percent, Rajput population is 3.45 percent, Musahar population is 3 percent and Yadav population is 14 percent.
