West Bengal State Election Commissioner Rajeev Sinha had announced the Panchayat election dates in West Bengal on 8 June. Polling will be held in all panchayats in the state on July 8. Along with this, a plan has also been made to conduct elections for all panchayats of Bengal in a single day. With this, he said that the results of the election will be announced on July 11. In such a situation, let us tell you that BJP’s state Sukant Majumdar says that June 15 is the last date for nomination of the party, so there is no point in calling the meeting 2 days in advance.

Allegations against State Election Commissioner Rajeev Sinha
BJP state president Sukhant Majmudar further said that the commissioner should have called the meeting before announcing the election date. June 10 is the last date for nominations. I do not see any way to implement the suggestions that the opposition will give in the meeting. He also alleged that Sinha has become the Election Commissioner to spoil the entire election process. Along with this, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary also wrote a letter to the governor regarding the panchayat elections.
