UP News: SP agitated over the cancellation of the investigation against the Vice Chancellor of CSJMU, Raj Bhavan gave the main reason for this

UP News: The Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandi Ben Patel, Vice Chancellor of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, Prof. The ongoing investigation against Vinay Kumar Pathak has been cancelled. According to an order of the Raj Bhavan, no Vice-Chancellor has the right to take any inquiry action against any former officer of his own. There is a provision that such inquiry can be done only from the level of a Chancellor. UP’s main opposition party SP has targeted the Yogi government for canceling the investigation by the Governor on this basis. He has questioned that the Vice-Chancellor of the University, accused of corruption, Prof. On what basis is the reader being saved? Let us tell you that on February 1, the then Vice-Chancellor of AKTU had formed a 3-member inquiry committee under the chairmanship of a retired High Court judge.

SP surrounded the UP government by tweeting

Here, the Samajwadi Party has surrounded the UP government by tweeting about the cancellation of the investigation on Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak. Attaching a copy of the Governor’s order to the tweet, he wrote, “Your Excellency the Governor of UP has ordered closure of several investigations against the corrupt VC Vinay Pathak… This is the same corrupt Vinay Pathak whose dark deeds, corruption, immorality, viciousness Many cases came to light a few months ago but the corrupt Yogi/BJP government was shielding it.

It may be known that the then Vice-Chancellor of AKTU Prof. PK Mishra had complained through Dr. Abhijit Sinha. Along with this, considering the letter written by the UGC Secretary as the basis, an inquiry committee was constituted on 1 February 2023. During the tenure of Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak, PK Mishra had directed for the recruitment appointments, decisions taken in e-consortium, finance committee, working council, investment of 1700 crores as well as investigation of PhD of Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak . But only after this Prof. PK Mishra was removed from the post. Angered by this, Prof. Mishra had resigned.
