The dates for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections have been announced, all the parties are engaged in wooing the public by addressing the virtual election rally at their own level. However, due to Corona, the rally has been banned in the election states for now. But the Samajwadi Party held a virtual rally in its Lucknow program, after which trouble started falling on them.
In fact, in the name of virtual rally, SP had gathered a huge crowd, now the Election Commission has taken cognizance of this and the party has been asked to reply within 24 hours. A complaint has already been filed against 2500 SP workers because of this controversy.
Strict action can be taken if response is not given within 24 hours. Let us tell you that there is so much ruckus about this rally, it was very important for the UP elections. Through that program Swami Prasad Maurya, a big leader of OBC society, had joined the Samajwadi Party. Along with him, many other MLA ministers who came from BJP had also joined the SP. In such a situation, there was a big advantage for the party during the election season, but due to the breakdown of Corona protocol, the trouble has increased.
Election Commission sources had already made it clear that no arbitrariness of political parties and leaders, workers or public will be tolerated in this election. Because it is the people who do and the court convicts the commission.
For information, let us tell you that due to the increasing cases of Corona, earlier the Election Commission had banned the rallies till January 15. Then today that ban has been extended till 22nd January.
