Questions raised on the lists of BJP candidates!
Bhopal, (EMS). The tweet made by BJP’s fire brand leader and former CM Uma Bharti on Tuesday, a week after the fourth list of BJP candidates was released, has once again created a political stir in Madhya Pradesh. Uma has written in the tweet that she is surprised and happy about this list and she has informed the top leadership of BJP about this. But in the tweet, Uma, while referring to a line from Allama Iqbal’s couplet, said something which is being interpreted to have many political implications. He has once again raised the issue of OBC women reservation.
Uma Bharti has written in the tweet that ‘perhaps we have accepted the ability to win as the basis. But we should be free from the desire to win and the fear of defeat. In his five-point tweet he wrote –
-Uma wrote that the fourth list of candidates of our party BJP has arrived. Everyone and I have a mixed feeling of surprise and happiness due to the impression I have formed after talking to our workers and voters of Madhya Pradesh about these four lists of BJP candidates. I have informed all the senior BJP leadership of Delhi and Madhya Pradesh about this. Perhaps we have considered the ability to win as the basis. Our party has been a worshiper of loyalty and moral values. We should always be free from the desire to win and the fear of defeat and should also be visible.
A line from Iqbal’s couplet – “Guftar’s son became a Ghazi, but the character’s Ghazi could not be made.” Now, after the final list, we will also assess how many women from backward classes got tickets. With this, my demand for reservation for women from backward classes will seem correct to everyone.
