Mamata Banerjee: G-20 Summit (G20 Summit 2023) President Draupadi Murmu had organized a dinner program. Chief Ministers of every state and Union Ministers as well as foreign guests had received invitations to this dinner ceremony. Many opposition leaders including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Hemant Soren attended this dinner.
On the other hand, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge was not invited to this dinner party. Due to which the Chief Ministers of Congress ruled states did not attend this dinner ceremony. Now questions are being raised about opposition leaders attending this dinner party. Congress itself has expressed displeasure over this.
Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary raised questions on Mamta
Actually, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Choudhary (Adhir Ranjan Choudhary) questioned Mamata Banerjee’s presence at the dinner program on Sunday. According to the West Bengal Congress President, attending the dinner program will weaken Mamata Banerjee’s opposition to the Modi administration. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said that if Mamata Banerjee had not been present in this dinner meeting, the sky would not have fallen. Texts like Mahabharata and Quran do not become impure. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary also raised questions about Mamata Banerjee’s intention to attend this dinner party.
‘Opposition leaders should have been respected’
Adhir Ranjan Choudhary said that the Bengal Chief Minister was sitting at the dinner table with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, which is not a good sign. He said that while many Chief Ministers of parties other than BJP stayed away from the dinner issue, Mamata Banerjee (Mamata Banerjee) went to Delhi in a hurry. He should have respected other opposition leaders, which he did not.
TMC retaliated on Adhir Ranjan’s statement
At the same time, TMC Rajya Sabha member Shantanu Sen has reacted to this comment of Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary. He hit back at the Congressman, saying Choudhary should not have commented about specific administrative protocols that needed to be followed. He said that as per protocol, Choudhary will not decide when the state chief minister will go for the G20 dinner.
