Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has announced that Shiv Sena will contest 50 to 100 seats in Uttar Pradesh, including that seat in Ayodhya, after a closed-door meeting with Bharatiya Kisan Union national spokesperson Chaudhary Rakesh Tikait. Due to which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is going to contest the elections. The meeting of both of them lasted for about an hour at the residence of Chaudhary Rakesh Tikait in Muzaffarnagar. During this, Sanjay Rawat got Rakesh Tikait’s conversation with Shiv Sena President and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray over the phone. Responding to what happened during this, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that he had come here today with a special purpose and he would not disclose what happened in the closed room between the party president and Rakesh Tikait, the voice of farmers.

He said that – today he had come to express his gratitude to Rakesh Tikait for fighting the long battle of farmers and to invite him to talk to party president Uddhav Thackeray on the issue related to farmers in Maharashtra. He said that – Shri Tikait’s family has also been related to Shivaji Maharaj’s family, so this meeting was special, he also showed some papers which included a letter written by Shivaji family to Tikait family. Shri Rawat said that Rakesh Tikait is now a big face of farmers and he should get an opportunity to raise voice of farmers of India in United Nations Organization. At the same time, he said that Rakesh Tikait may be political, but he must elect 8-10 representatives and send them to the Parliament. Mr. Rawat said that soon Shiv Sena will release its manifesto. On the question of who he wants to see as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, he said that wait now.
