Recently, Wasim Rizvi, former chairman of the Shia Central Waqf Board, has made a shocking disclosure through a video. In this video, he has said that after my death, I should not be buried, but my last rites should be performed. In this video, he has also said that only Narasimha Nand Saraswati will do the work of giving fire to his pyre.
Significantly, through this video, he has prepared his will in a way and presented it to the people. According to the statement given in the video, Rizvi has requested to hand over his body to Hindu friends after his death. In this video released by him, Waseem Rizvi further said that “There is a conspiracy to kill me and behead my neck in India and outside India. I am being rewarded. My crime is so much that I have challenged 26 verses of Quran in the Supreme Court. Which spreads hatred towards humanity. Now Muslims want to kill me and are declaring that they will not give me any place in any graveyard.
Rizvi said – instead of burial, I should be cremated
Wasim Rizvi’s video is not limited to this only. He further made many revelations in his video, not only in this video which is being told as the testament of Wasim Rizvi. In this, he further said that “I have written a testament so that peace should prevail after my death. In that I have clearly said that after my death my body should be given to my Hindu friends in Lucknow and after making my pyre, my last rites should be performed according to Hindu rituals and my funeral pyre should be given by our Yati Narasimhanand Saraswati ji. I have authorized them.”
What is the whole matter after all?
Actually this matter started when Waseem Rizvi filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding removal of 26 verses from the Quran. But the Supreme Court rejected Rizvi’s petition. This trend did not stop here, after the rejection of this petition, Rizvi started targeting Muslim organizations and people of Muslim communities. The situation got so bad that he also started receiving threats from different opposition organizations. Many Muslim organizations have also said that Rizvi has nothing to do with Islam and Shia community.
