Rajasthan politics: With a resounding victory in Karnataka, the Congress party has now turned its attention to the upcoming assembly elections in four states. In which elections are to be held in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana by the end of this year. In order to maintain this series of victory, the Congress high command has first become active to resolve the internal dispute of Rajasthan. National President Mallikarjun Kharge has called a meeting in Delhi on May 24-25 to resolve the dispute between Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot.
Congress does not want the confrontation to be prolonged
Experts believe that the Congress high command does not want to keep the party crisis in Rajasthan for long. That is why activism on this issue has increased at Delhi Congress Headquarters and a meeting has been called on 24-25 May 2023. CM Gehlot is conveying his point through state in-charge Randhawa, General Secretary Venugopal. So Sachin Pilot is seen in the mood of agitation without seeing any solution. However, earlier also Mallikarjun Kharge and Ajay Maken have tried, while former Chief Minister of MP Kamal Nath has also tried. But no solution could be found.

Along with this, they are demanding investigation on Vasundhara as per the election promise. Most importantly the high command did not give any indication that he would be made the CM.
What does Gehlot want
While on the other hand, CM Ashok Gehlot is making full preparations to become the CM for the fourth time. The MLAs of his camp are constantly claiming that Pilot is conspiring to topple the government by taking crores of rupees from Amit Shah. They are even alleging that Pilot is deliberately not demanding an inquiry against Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in the Sanjeevani scam. Because of his alleged collusion with Shekhawat.
