Let us tell you that Captain Amarinder Singh wrote a 7-page letter to Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday. It was said in it that one day the decision to make Sidhu the President of Punjab Congress will have to be regretted. Along with this, the Captain had also said that many Congress ministers and MLAs are involved in illegal mining. Responding to Capt’s letter, Sidhu called him a fraudster and a smuggled cartridge.
Sidhu said were you in your sleep when people were doing wrong things? If the minister was involved in illegal mining why did he not take action? Sidhu raised the question that if there were mafia under his rule then who was earning money. Sidhu also said that not taking action against those doing wrong is a cowardly attitude. They are cowards.
Captain Amarinder Singh resigned as the Chief Minister of Punjab on 18 September. He had made it clear only after that that he would not be in the Congress. After this, on October 19, the Captain announced the formation of a new party. Let us tell you that he has named his party ‘Punjab Lok Congress’.
