Punjab News: After winning the Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat, Sushil Kumar Rinku reached Delhi with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. After becoming an MP from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), on Sunday 14 May 2023, Rinku met party convenor Arvind Kejriwal at his residence and took his blessings. Talking to the media after the meeting, MP Rinku told that whatever work the AAP government has done for the welfare of the public in the last one year. Due to those works, the public has ensured victory by giving such huge support.
Know what is the roadmap
Tell that after becoming MP from Jalandhar, Sushil Kumar Rinku said that at present I have 11 months time. There are many works, but his first priority is to complete the unfinished works of Jalandhar’s development. In which there are many works like airport, roads, flyover etc. of Adampur. CM Mann has given full assurance that we will start the work of fulfilling the promises made to the people of Jalandhar from today itself. But we are running with a roadmap of 5 years, not 11 months. There are many issues related to the industry, which I will put before the Parliament with full force.

AAP has got a big victory
Let us tell you that the Aam Aadmi Party has won a big victory in the Lok Sabha by-election 2023 in Jalandhar, Punjab. Earlier this seat was firmly occupied as a Congress bastion for the last 24 years. The seat fell vacant due to the sudden demise of a Congress MP during Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in September last year. Demolishing which, AAP MP Sushil Kumar Rinku has won by 58691 votes. While the Aam Aadmi Party had inducted MP Sushil just 34 days before the by-election.
