Mumbai . Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday (October 19) that today the demand for India’s skilled youth is increasing all over the world. There are many countries where the number of senior citizens is very high and the number of elderly people is increasing. It is very difficult to find trained youth there.
The survey conducted in this regard has revealed that 16 countries of the world want to provide jobs to about 40 lakh skilled youth in their country. There is a shortage of skilled professionals in these countries. There are many sectors like construction sector, tourism industry, hospitality and transport where there is a lot of demand in foreign countries today. PM Modi was speaking on the occasion of launching 511 Pramod Mahajan Rural Skill Development Centers built in 34 districts of Maharashtra through video conferencing.
He said that for a long time the governments were neither concerned about skill development nor had the same vision. Our youth had to suffer a huge loss due to this. Despite the demand in the industry and talent among the youth, it had become extremely difficult for the youth to get jobs due to lack of skill development. It is our government which has understood the importance of skill development among the youth. We created a separate ministry for skill development. 1.3 crore youth have been trained in the skill development centers of our government.
Rural youth will get skill development training
These centers, named after late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, have been built in 34 districts of Maharashtra, where the rural population is high. According to the information received from PMO, these centers will provide skill development training in different fields to the rural youth for employment. At each center, 100 youth will be trained in at least two courses.
Skill development a big topic for PM Modi

He said that these centers will help in preventing the youth from moving from villages to cities for jobs. The number of such centers will be increased in future.
