PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on Uttarakhand tour today. He started his tour from Pithoragarh district. Where, this morning he had darshan of Adi Kailash mountain. During this time he also meditated sitting near Parvati Kund. Adi Kailash Mountain is located on the India-China border in Uttarakhand.
PM Modi is the first Prime Minister to visit here. China border is located at a distance of about 20 kilometers from this place. After this, PM Modi reached Gunji village of Pithoragarh, where he talked to Army and ITBP personnel and addressed a public meeting.
There is a plan to develop Gunji village
Gunji village of Uttarakhand is a small village situated at an altitude of 14 thousand feet above sea level. Its distance from Dharchula is 70 km. There is a plan to develop it as a big religious city Shiv Dham in the next two years.
After Dharchula, this will be the biggest and important stop for the devotees coming to visit Kailash View Point, Om Parvat and Adi Kailash. Under the proposed plan, big passenger residences and hotels will be built here. Network of Indian telecom companies will also be available. Home stays will be increased in the village.
What did PM Modi say before the visit?
Giving information about his Uttarakhand tour, PM Modi wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “Our government is committed to the welfare of the people of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand and the rapid development of the state. To give it further momentum, I will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many projects in Pithoragarh.”
He further wrote, “There will also be an opportunity to interact with the people in Gunji village. During this tour, we are also eagerly waiting for darshan and worship at Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Dham of spiritual importance.”
