New Delhi (HS). Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday took a dig at Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and said that the public is going to oust Congress and the ‘magician’ on December 3.
Before the assembly elections in Rajasthan, Prime Minister Modi addressed the Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Bharatpur. He said, “There is a unanimous voice in Rajasthan and that is to make BJP victorious in Rajasthan.” “BJP’s vision for Rajasthan is to enable its development, eliminate corruption and empower women,” he said.
He said that on one hand India is becoming a leader in the world. On the other hand, you all know what happened in Rajasthan in the last 5 years. Congress has made Rajasthan a leader in corruption, riots and crimes. That’s why now the people of Rajasthan are saying that they will not vote for ‘magician’. Modi said, “Some people call themselves ‘magicians’. Now the people of Rajasthan are calling him – 3rd December, Congress Chhu Mantar.”
Highlighting India’s pioneering achievements, Prime Minister Modi said, “Today, India’s achievements are unprecedented. “We are on the moon, we hosted the G20 summit and became the 5th largest economy in the world.” He said that India will soon emerge as the third largest economy in the world. He said, “India’s unprecedented rise is due to the ‘vote’ given by the citizens of India for the BJP and India’s development.
Discussing the current state of governance in Rajasthan, Prime Minister Modi said, “Corruption, riots and crime have emerged as the new rule of law in Congress-led Rajasthan.” “The Congress-led regime of mischief has distorted the lives of all people in Rajasthan, depriving them of basic and collective development,” he said, adding, “The establishment of the Congress in Rajasthan is a regime of appeasement, terror. “
Holding Congress responsible for the backward mentality in Rajasthan, Prime Minister Modi said, “When leaders openly say that Rajasthan is a state of men and is dominated by them, can women ever be safe?” On the contrary, he said Congress promotes such mentality by announcing candidates to contest assembly elections in Rajasthan.
Reflecting on Congress’ hatred towards Dalits, Prime Minister Modi said, “Congress’ hatred for Dalits is well known. His hatred towards Chief Information Commissioner of India Hiralal Samaria and former President Ramnath Kovind is an expression of the same.” “Congress’s hostility towards Dalits led them to ruin the political career of Babasaheb Ambedkar,” he said.
“On the contrary, it is the BJP that has ensured that India gets its second Dalit Law Minister in the form of Arjun Ram Meghwal after Babasaheb Ambedkar, leading to true empowerment of Dalits in India,” he said.
On ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’, Prime Minister Modi said, “Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra is to enable empowerment of all to ensure full saturation of government schemes, no one will be deprived.” He said that this is Modi’s guarantee for the fulfillment of all the guarantees. “Modi’s guarantee is to provide free food grains to all the poor for the next 5 years,” he said. He said Modi’s guarantee is to eliminate rampant corruption and theft and enable direct access of benefits and transfers to eligible beneficiaries.
Prime Minister Modi said, “The basis of Congress rule in Rajasthan is the ‘Lal Diary’ full of corruption, rampant inflation and policies promoting mafia rule. On the contrary, India’s growing infrastructure strength, robust tourism, corruption-free system, rule of law and empowerment are the BJP’s promises and guarantees of efficient governance. In the end, Prime Minister Modi appealed to all the voters to vote for BJP and ensure rapid development of Rajasthan and India.
