Amarmani Triprathi: The Supreme Court has not yet put any stay on the release of Madhumita Shukla murder case accused and jailed former Uttar Pradesh Minister Amarmani and his wife Madhumani Tripathi. However, the SC has definitely sent a notice to the Uttar Pradesh government on a petition filed by Madhumita Shukla’s sister.
In the notice, an answer has been sought from the government on this entire matter. Along with this, the court has given the date of hearing after 56 days. The matter will now be heard on October 20, 2023.
Amarmani Tripathi and Madhumani Tripathi will be released
In fact, orders were issued to release former minister Amarmani Tripathi and his wife Madhumani Tripathi, who were serving sentences in the Madhumita Shukla murder case. Both are serving life sentences for murder.
Amarmani Tripathi and Madhumani Tripathi, who had served 20 years in jail, had filed a mercy petition some time ago regarding their release. On which the government has now issued orders for the release of both. These orders have been issued after the permission of the Governor. It is being told that both are being released due to good conduct.

Please tell that this case is of 2003. When, on May 9, poetess Madhumita Shukla was shot dead in Peppermill Colony, Lucknow. When the investigation of the case started, the name of former minister Amarmani Tripathi came to the fore.
After this, the court convicted Amarmani Tripathi, his wife Madhumani Tripathi and four people for murder. The court sentenced all four to life imprisonment. Since then all the accused in the case are in jail.
