The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has played a big bet before the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh next year. Once again BSP supremo Mayawati has run the Dalit-Brahmin card. Mayawati announced this on Sunday. He said that from July 23, a Brahmin conference would be organized by BSP in 18 mandals of the state. It will start from Ayodhya. BSP general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra has been given the responsibility.
1. What did you say for the opposition?
The BSP supremo said, the people want the accountability of the central government on many issues of the country and the state. On which all the opposition parties should unite and seriously put the government in the dock. The public also wants this. This is also the need of the hour.
2. Attack on BJP for Farmers
Mayawati said, farmers have been staging a sit-in at the Delhi border and other places for a long time demanding the withdrawal of 3 new agricultural laws of the central government. The apathetic attitude of the central government is sad. In order to act sensitively regarding their demands, it is necessary to create all kinds of pressure in the Parliament.
3. Surrounded by the government even on inflation
BSP Chief Mayawati said, unemployment is increasing in the country due to wrong policies of the central government. An economic crisis has arisen. The prices of petrol, diesel, cooking gas etc. are continuously increasing. Inflation has started touching the sky. People are suffering because of the negligence of the central government.
4. What did you say on Corona?
Mayawati said, it is very important to help the corona victim in the country and get vaccinated in the country. But due to non-implementation of this, the people of the country are very disappointed. BSP will question the central government with all these issues in the monsoon session.
5. Finally played Brahmin card
In the last conversation with the media, Mayawati played the Brahmin card. Said, the public is disappointed with the poor policies of the BJP government. People of every society are being exploited in different ways which is not good. Especially the Brahmin community is very sad. Those who voted unilaterally in the last election under the guise of BJP. Also formed a government for a full 5 years.
The people of Brahmin society will no longer fall under their (BJP) guise. I have full hope that the people of Brahmin community will form the government of Sarva Samaj once again by joining BSP. Now you will not fall under any deception. Rather, he will remain firm in the manner of Dalits. Will join BSP. The Brahmin community is very unhappy in the government. We have taken care of their interests and will keep them in every respect.
How is the preparation for the Brahmin conference?
The Brahmin convention of BSP will start from Ayodhya on July 23. The Brahmin face of the BSP, Satish Chandra Mishra, has tried to mobilize the Brahmins. Apart from the mandals, Brahmin conference will also be held in all the districts of the state. The venue for the Brahmin conference in Ayodhya is yet to be decided. The responsibility of organizing in Ayodhya has been given to BSP leader Karunakar Pandey.
This formula was successful in 2007
The Brahmin convention of the BSP will be on the lines of the 2007 election campaign. On Friday, more than 200 Brahmin leaders and workers from all over the state had reached the BSP office in Lucknow, where further strategy was discussed. With the formula of Dalit-Brahmin-OBC, Mayawati will enter the 2022 elections. In the 2007 UP elections, Mayawati created a ruckus in the country’s politics by winning 206 seats out of 403 and securing power with 30 percent of the vote.
The performance of BSP 2007 was not accidental but Mayawati’s well thought out strategy behind it. The candidates were announced almost a year before the elections. Apart from this, a rapprochement was created with OBCs, Dalits, Brahmins and Muslims. The BSP is trying to bring this formula back on the ground.
