After meeting Kejriwal, today Nitish reached Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge at his residence. The meeting between the two is still going on. Many big leaders including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, JDU President Lalan Singh are present in this meeting to chalk out a strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Although Tejashwi Yadav was also going to attend the meeting, but he has not reached yet. According to information received from sources, Tejashwi Yadav could not attend the meeting due to ill health.

Earlier on Saturday, at the swearing-in ceremony of the new government in Karnataka, leaders of 18 opposition parties appeared on one stage and an attempt was made to give a message of opposition unity. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, JDU President Lalan Singh, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also attended the ceremony. Recently, after meeting Akhilesh Yadav, he had said, “We have come only so that the opinion of more and more parties should be united, so that the country can be taken forward. Talks are being held with the parties and we will work together so that the country moves forward and the country gets freedom from BJP. We are already talking to all the people and a good result will come out of it. Everyone will fight the next election together and all parties together, which will be good in the interest of the country.
