Bhartiya Kisan Union (Tikait) spokesperson Rakesh Tikait has reached the venue on Monday night itself. Farmers have started gathering in the tribute meeting. Akhand Path is going on in Kaudiyala Ghat Gurdwara here since Sunday. Special Police Investigation Committee DIG Upendra Agarwal, DM Arvind Chaurasia and SP Vijay Dhul inspected the venue to check the security arrangements of the program.

First Shabad Kirtan then people will pay tribute
National President Indian Sikh Organization Jasveer Singh told that all preparations have been made for the last Ardas. Shabad Kirtan will be the first in the program starting at 10 am today. After this, the farmer leaders will pay their respects to the martyr farmers and keep their point of view. Many farmer leaders including Rakesh Tikait, Jogender Singh and Sarita have started coming here since Monday night to attend the last Ardas.
In view of the number of people, arrangements have been made to stop the farmers coming from other states at Kakkar Farm House, 500 meters away from the spot. For this, about 30 acres of paddy crop has been cut and tents have been set up here.
Langar will run at many places along with the gurudwara
Ram Singh Dhillon said that arrangements have been made for farmers to stay and langar at Kakkar Farm House. Along with this, arrangements for langar have also been made on the roads leading to Lakhimpur. For the farmers coming from far away, arrangements have been made in the Gurudwara for langar from 8 am.
Police alert in 13 districts
A large number of farmers are expected to gather in the last Ardas of the martyr farmers. In view of this, the Uttar Pradesh government has deployed a police force headed by 20 senior police officers in 13 districts. They will keep an eye on the movements of the farmers moment by moment. Along with this, strict action will be taken against those who take law and order in their hands. For this they have been ordered to camp in their respective districts.
