The court on Monday ordered to send Ashish Mishra to three-day police custody. According to the police, there will be a period of detention from 10 am to 15 October at 10 am. During this, the police will interrogate Ashish Mishra. An application was made in the court (Chief Judicial Magistrate) on Saturday to send Ashish Mishra to 14-day police custody, which was heard on Monday and from October 12 to October 15, the court has given approval for police custody. Let us inform that Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister Ajay Mishra ‘Teni’, was arrested in connection with the death of eight people, including four farmers, in the October 3 violence in Lakhimpur Kheri.

    Eight people have been killed so far in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur-Kheeri district in the violence that erupted ahead of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya’s visit on Tikonia-Banbirpur road last Sunday. During the visit of farmer Keshav Prasad Maurya, the farmers were protesting against the anti-agriculture laws. Then suddenly the SUV car crushed the farmers. After this violence broke out in the area. Both SUVs are being told of the convoy of Union Minister Ajay Mishra. The farmers, enraged by the accident, created a ruckus on the road and thrashed the driver of the SUV car to death.

    Let us inform that the opposition is attacking the ruling party regarding the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra, accused in this case, has been arrested. Even after this, from the opposition to the farmer leaders, Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra’s resignation is demanding. On Sunday, BM Singh, the national president of the Kisan Mazdoor Sangh, has targeted the BJP government over the incident in Lakhimpur Kheri last Sunday. He said that the Yogi government is engaged in saving the culprits. At the same time, he said that till the time Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra remains in the post, the victims’ families cannot get justice. He further said that somewhere the authorities are protecting his son. The central government should immediately take the resignation.
