Ghaziabad News: The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected mayor and councilors of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation of UP was held yesterday, Saturday, 27 May 2023. This program was organized at Deendayal Upadhyaya Auditorium, Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad. Its Meerut Range Divisional Commissioner Selva Kumari J administered the oath of office to BJP’s Sunita Dayal as the Mayor of Ghaziabad. Mayor Sunita Dayal is the 6th Mayor of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation. This time, instead of 100 ward councilors of Ghaziabad, 99 councilors took oath on the occasion of oath taking. New mayor will take charge on Monday
Sunita Dayal, the new Mayor of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation, after taking the oath, told that she will assume her post on Monday, May 29, 2023 with full legality. While talking to the media, Sunita Dayal while enumerating her priorities for Ghaziabad said that it will be her endeavor that this time not Indore Municipal Corporation but Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation should come forward as a model of cleanliness. Along with this, it will be their endeavor that there should be no water-logging in the city in this rainy season. Such measures will be ensured.
