Amarmani Tripathi’s political stature matters a lot in UP politics. Born in the year 1956, Amarmani Tripathi traveled from the world of crime to politics. Even before Amarmani’s entry into politics, he was facing charges like murder, assault, kidnapping. As the graph of crime increased, the echo of Amarmani’s name started being heard till Lucknow.

Student politics was at its peak in Gorakhpur. Every dominant class was engaged on one side or the other in the battle for territorial supremacy. Amarmani Tripathi’s entry took place in such a period. He started supporting Harishankar Tiwari. Within no time, Amarmani acquired the title of being special to Harishankar Tiwari.

Communist Party also got support

According to information, Harishankar Tiwari, seeing Amarmani being in politics, fielded him in the 1980 election against Virendra Shahi from Laxmipur seat. Then did Amarmani get the support of the Communist Party as well? BJP made him a minister as soon as he joined the party

However, then the BJP-BSP coalition government was formed in UP. After this, he left the Congress and got the membership of the BJP. The BJP made him a minister as soon as he joined the party. Later he was expelled from the party, but Amarmani’s threat and hold increased in Purvanchal. Amarmani became the need of political parties. He was made a minister in every government.

Seeing Amarmani’s clout in his political career, Mulayam Singh included him in his cabinet. Meanwhile, Amarmani’s acquaintance with Madhumita Shukla, a well-known poet of Lakhimpur Kheri’s Veer Ras, started increasing. Then what, his luck played a wonderful game with Amarmani, due to which his bad phase started. On May 9, 2003, two miscreants suddenly barged into the house of Madhumita Shukla, a resident of Paper Mill Colony, Lucknow, and fired at Madhumita and killed her, whose killer was made to be Bahubali Amarmani Tripathi. Not only this, his wife Madhumani Tripathi was also made an accused in this case.

According to the information, the post-mortem report of the deceased Madhumita mentioned that she was pregnant. Whose full suspicion on Amarmani deepened even more. Due to which they got trapped in the web of troubles even more badly. In the CBI investigation, Amarmani Tripathi, who had followed his footsteps from politics to the world of crime, was made an accused. The case went on in the court for four years. The sentence was announced in the year 2007. The court sentenced Amarmani and Madhumani to life imprisonment. Presently Amarmani Tripathi and his wife Madhumani are being released from jail today.
