National Conference President Farooq Abdullah has targeted BJP over the upcoming assembly elections. He claims that once again BJP will do politics of hate to win the Uttar Pradesh elections and will work to break the unity of the country. Abdullah said that the BJP party is using the Balakot air strike issue to gain political mileage in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, which is absolutely wrong. He also accused the BJP of spreading hatred in the country. He said in his statement that BJP is spreading hatred to win elections and the party also uses ‘hatred’ as a weapon to win elections in India.
BJP uses Balakot issue to win elections
Calling people to fight hatred to save the Union Territory and the country, the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister warned that if hatred continues to grow, no one will be able to stop India from breaking up. He angrily said Balakot! Balakot! Has the Line (LoC) changed? Did we get back any piece of land from Pakistan? The line is still there. We dropped our plane there. what have we got? Instead, the BJP came to power. They are still doing the same thing today. They are spreading hatred to win the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

BJP working to spread hatred
Talking about the growing communal hatred in the country, Abdullah said that we have to fight communalism. We have to break the wall of hatred being built between Hindus and Muslims. We have to end this hatred. Without it, neither India survives nor this state (Jammu and Kashmir). If we have to save India, we have to end this hatred. Politics of hate has been turned into a weapon by which elections are being won since independence. I have seen this in every election since independence. Muslim leaders are taken to Muslim areas and Hindu leaders go to Hindu areas. Speaking on the upcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Abdullah said that if they (BJP government) think that they will break this state, then I want to tell them: Be careful, don’t have such a mindset. This country will not survive.
