Darbhanga (EMS). An election fair was held on Wednesday at Idgah ground in Ghazipur in Tarapur of Munger district. The reason for this fair was RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, who was coming to address an election meeting after almost six years. The election fair was also held at Jhajhra High School ground of Kusheshwarsthan in Darbhanga district. The meeting of Lalu Prasad was scheduled at eleven o’clock in Tarapur, but people started coming from 9 o’clock. By 11 o’clock the field was full. After this, the people coming were seen looking for a place on the school building adjacent to the ground. Till 12 o’clock there were only people on the ground and the surrounding building. At 12.30 a helicopter roared over the Idgah ground. People’s eyes and hands both raised upwards. Ten minutes later Tejashwi Yadav and Lalu Prasad were on the stage. Those who were from where they were, started trying to move forward towards the stage. The crowd came very close to the stage. Tejashwi Yadav took the mic and told the crowd that the RJD supremo is still unwell, yet you have come here to meet people. Due to the slogans of Zindabad, Tejashwi Yadav handed over the mic to Lalu Prasad in five minutes. Slogans started reverberating as soon as Lalu Prasad took over the mic. Photos were taken from mobile, video recording started. Lalu Prasad started speaking in the old style, but soon the loudness of the voice diminished. It was clear that health was not supporting him. But the enthusiasm of the youth standing right in front of the stage was not diminishing. In between, the noise of slogans kept reverberating. There was applause.
After attacking the central and state government for 15 minutes, as soon as Lalu Prasad got off the stage, the crowd ran towards the helipad. Barricading broken. When security personnel handled the crowd, Tejashwi Yadav to Lalu Prasad. He was immediately asked to board the helicopter. After making them sit, Tejashwi sat on the other side and closed the door. When the helicopter flew from here, it landed in the Jhajra High School ground in Kusheshwarsthan. It was two o’clock in the afternoon. The situation was visible here from Munger itself. People reached close to the stage by crossing the barricades in the chock-full ground. Seeing the noise of the crowd, Lalu Prasad was seen continuously indicating to keep quiet and listen. He finished his talk after speaking 12 minutes. People in the crowd said, father and son appeared on the stage together. Had fun. Some also expressed concern over his ill health.
